Massachusetts Renters Insurance and Deductibles
In the insurance world, there is always a tradeoff between the amount you pay as a premium and the deductible amount on the policy.
People differ greatly in how they handle the choice of how much of a deductible to accept. Some wish to have very little as a deductible, opting to pay a larger premium for their Massachusetts renters insurance. Others would rather a cheaper premium, and opt for a high deductible.

While there is no ‘right answer’ when it comes to the deductible amount you choose, there are certain things that everyone must consider when making the decision.
The first (and arguably most important) consideration you should have is if you would be ready for a deductible payment. While a lower premium sounds enticing when you are thinking about raising your deductible for Massachusetts renters insurance, renters need to realize that this expense is not one that you can budget for.
If you are ok with your emergency fund taking a hit if you ever need to make a claim, a higher deductible may be the answer for you. If you would prefer to have more budget-able expenses, you would probably rather opt for the higher premium and lower deductible.
